From one to two

>> Tuesday, October 25, 2011

Going from one child to two was a very hard transition for me. In fact, my daughter just turned 10 months, and I'm still adjusting. I needed to see this when I read my weekly update from baby center today!

Aww. My oldest is 7 years and youngest is 6 months today! I feel we've adjusted great. The 7 yo is very independant and is not clingy or anything and allows us to care for the little one without too much of other issues coming from her. She's been great. 7 years difference in age is big but we're really seeing the benefits that's for sure!

I feel your pain or I have. I know that going from one to two was the hardest adjustment for me. I went from two to three without any issues and I expect three to 4 is going to be the same ( I pray I am not just saying that:) ) It will get easier, I promise!

I've heard the first is hard to adjust to. Then the second is a piece of cake since you know what to expect. But the third is another big adjustment. My first was hard to adjust to, I thought because I was an only child and having to take care of another human was new to me. Well, the day after my daughter's 3rd birthday I had twins. That was hard. They all had their birthday last week. I'm still barely keeping myself afloat! But I love them all more than I could have imagined.
